MCG Breakfast Event - Peter Noonan talking about the Bradley Review
July 22, 2009
In the recent budget, the Federal Government outlined its responses to the recommendations of the Bradley Review. These responses, backed with funding commitments foreshadow some significant changes to the VET and higher education systems. Of critical focus is the formation of the unified tertiary sector and the underpinning strategies to link the current HE and VET systems through stronger pathways, a new national Quality system, greater access for students and more support for regional areas.
But what impacts will all this have on the VET sector as we currently know?
Peter Noonan, a member of the Bradley Review Committee and advisor to state and federal government will analyse the impact of the uptake of the Bradley recommendations on the VET sector.
The breakfast will be held at the MCG, the Olympic Room, on Wednesday 22nd July, 2009 Registrations at 7.00am for a 7.30am start with the event concluding at 9 am.
Cost of registration: VISTA members $60 (ex GST); Non members $90 (ex GST)
