Special Fireside Chat Event: Positioning E-learning at the Top End of Practice - John Mitchell and Associates
March 11, 2010
Just how big is the skills gap in e-learning in VET? Why is this skills gap a serious issue? How can you use the newly released JMA Analytics Model of VET Capability Development to address the gap?
This special VISTA Fireside Chat focuses on one of the major stories from the recent national survey of VET practitioners; a story not included in the free public report The JMA Analytics Model of VET Capability Development (31 Jan 2010), available at www.jma.com.au/JMAAnalytics.aspx The story of massive skill deficits in e-learning will be revealed publicly, for the first time, at this VISTA event. The information was not included in the report because it is a major story in itself and worthy of special focus. JMA Analytics, a division of John Mitchell & Associates, in conjunction with e-learning consultant Clint Smith from LearnWorks, is methodically developing a multi-pronged response to the many related issues. During the evening, Clint will join researchers John Mitchell and John Ward in sharing the surprising results and their proposed, comprehensive response to the national skills crisis in e-learning within VET.
