Skills Reform: What is in store for 2010? - Breakfast event with Lee Watts, Executive Director, Skills Victoria

The purpose of this event is to update VISTA members and  VET practitioners on the overall progress of the Skills Reform initiatives from  Skills Victoria's perspective and re orient VET practitioners (public, private and ACE) to the planned and expected strategy milestones for this year.

Lee Watts  (Executive Director, Skills Funding and Innovation)  Skills Victoria will present at this breakfast event.

Find out:

  • What has been achieved up until now?
  • What are the key initiatives and milestones for 2010?
  • What specific funding initiatives are in place for 2010 (with reference to initiatives for private RTOs)?
  • Where do I get specific information about Skills reform initiatives?

This event will be held at the function room, RMIT Village (Old Melbourne Motor Inn) Flemington Road North Melbourne (Near the Flemington Road and  Elizabeth St roundabout, opposite Royal Melbourne Hospital).

The event starts with  7.15 am registration then a seated buffet style breakfast served from  7.30.

The presentation will commence at 8.00 am and the event will conclude at 9.00am

Cost: VISTA members  $60 (plus GST)  non members $85 (plus GST)

Street (meter, 1 & 2 hr) parking is available in Bedford Street, Flemington Road or Blackwood Street .
Secure parking is available in Blackwood street.

Casual parking ($8) is also available at the RMIT Student Village (Old Melbourne Motor Inn) car park in Bedford St.
There is tram access via Elizabeth Street.
