MCG breakfast - Contestable Funding 6 months on. Where are we up to? - 6 Sep 2011
The fully contestable VET funding strategy has now been in place for 6 months. VISTA has invited Skills Victoria to outline the findings after the first 2 quarterly delivery data periods have been analysed.
Wendy Timms, Executive Director Market Facilitation & Information, Skills Victoria will present on the following:
1.The emerging delivery trends evidenced following the first 6 months of the fully contestable funding strategy implementation (i.e. industry delivery analyses; qualifications; age and other cohorts)
2. Issues that have arising following an analysis of these trends (expected achievements, any surprises, unexpected achievements, disappointing trends)
3.Key learnings that may inform refinements to the strategy over the next 6 – 12 months
4. Any unrealized opportunities as perceived by Government

This event is targetted at VET professionals working in TAFE, private RTOs, ACE, Higher Education, schools and allied organisations supporting training opportunities (ITABs, Skill Councils,LLENs, NACs, job placement, etc).
