2008 VISTA VALA Conference
“Licence to Create”!
The conference is planned for 13th August 2008 and will be held at the Victoria University Convention Centre - Sunshine Campus.
The theme “Licence to Create” celebrates innovative approaches to student centred learning. The concept of “licence” provides encouragement, recognition and legitimization to taking risks with creative and innovative approaches to applied learning. The “licence” reinforces the concept that it is ok to challenge and push the limits of imposed paradigms.
If you are currently involved in a creative and innovative programs supporting young people learning and are interested in learning about innovative approaches to engaging young people, willing to be challenged to extend your own capabilities, wanting to share your experiences, your achievements and your learning, this conference will be the one for you.
The conference will have a mixture of paper presentations, interactive workshops, opportunities for engaging with practitioners from a wide range of learning environments.
